​Located minutes from Soufriere, Toraille is one of St. Lucia’s most popular waterfalls.  Beloved by locals and travelers alike, the 50 foot drop of the water at this waterfall feels almost like a massage when it hits the body.  Taking a dip in this waterfall is a beloved activity for travelers, and can be a great way to start or end a hike into the surrounding rain forest.  With a picnic area and spaces to change clothing, Toraille is an excellent part of any day trip.

  • Saltibus Falls​
Located to the south of Soufriere near a town called Choiseul is a stunning trail through the rain forest leading to Saltibus Falls.  Situated along the Doree River, Saltibus Falls is reachable only by taking a 90 minute walk along a stunning rainforest trail.  Along the way, visitors will find a number of natural pools that are perfect for a relaxing dip.  There is also a historic nature trail in the area that traverses the rain forest before ascending to the peak of Grand Magasin.
  • Piton Waterfalls​
Situated in the UNESCO World Heritage Site that is the Piton Mountains is Piton Falls.  One of St. Lucia’s most beautiful attractions, this Soufriere waterfall is located near the famed Jalousie Plantation and Petit Piton, the smaller of the island’s two famous volcanic mountains.  Piton Falls features a drop of approximately thirty feet and at the base is a popular bathing pool.  There are many restaurants in the area, and a dip in Piton Falls makes a great reward at the end of a Gros Piton hike!
  • Diamond Falls Waterfall and Botanical Garden​
Diamond Falls is perhaps St. Lucia’s most famous waterfall.  Located slightly to the east of the island’s capital of Soufreire, Diamond Waterfalls and the surrounding botanical gardens were a gift from King Louis the 14th back in 1713.  Presented to the Devaux family as thanks for services to the nation of France, the family’s descendants still own and maintain the property today.  Diamond Falls is home to a beautiful mineral bath, a nature trail, and more, and the waterfall is actually created by water that bubbles up from the sulphur springs underground.
  • Enbas Saut Waterfall​
Nestled at the foot of Mount Gimie in St. Lucia’s Edmund Forest Reserve in central St. Lucia is the Enbas Saut Waterfall.  Accessing the falls takes about two hours, but is done via a cloud forest and rain forest, which makes it absolutely stunning all the way to the falls.  A tour guide is recommended, as the falls can be a bit tricky to find on one’s own, but once you reach these two stunning waterfalls and feel the water cascading over you and into the pools below, you’ll know that it was well worth the trip.
  • Sault Falls​
Located in a town called Dennery on St. Lucia’s east coast is Sault Faults, or Dennery Falls.  With a drop of approximately 55 feet, Sault Falls is one of St. Lucia’s biggest waterfalls.  Nearby zipline tours are available, but Dennery Falls is fairly secluded, making it the perfect waterfall for romantic photos or to just unwind and relax away from the hustle and bustle of crowded areas.
  • La Tille Waterfall​
Located on St. Lucia’s east coast is a little-known and seldom visited waterfall known as La Tille Waterfall that is well worth the trip.  Located on the edge of the rain forest, La Tille is actually a rather stunning waterfall, with a 20 foot drop and lush greenery all around to create the most picturesque landscape.  There are hiking trails and dining options in the area if you’re making the fall part of a day trip, and a rope swing leading into the beautiful waters makes La Tille perfect for a day of relaxation and adventure in the beautiful slice of nature that is St. Lucia.
